QuickCategory is a geospatial data API service operated from the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@quickcategory.com.
What data we collect
Account data: When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We use this solely to authenticate you and communicate with you about your account.
API usage data: We log API requests associated with your API key (endpoint called, timestamp, response status, and request ID). We use this to enforce rate limits, generate your usage dashboard, and diagnose issues.
Website analytics: We may collect anonymised usage data about visits to this marketing website (page views, referrer, browser type). No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics.
How we use your data
- To provide and operate the QuickCategory API service
- To send transactional emails (account creation, billing receipts, quota alerts)
- To diagnose and fix technical issues
- To improve the service
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. API logs are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
